Congratulations to 11 year old Olivia and Eagle Scout Jacob Hall!!

Yes we know, we know.. We haven't posted in a while but we all know how busy the Christmas season is. So here are a few cakes we did over the past few months.

The first was for my littlest sister Olivia who just turned 11, and has a pet rat "Carmel" that she loves who we recreated on her cake as well as some of her other favorite things(:

Do you see the resemblance?

The second cake we did was for our friend Jacob Hall who completed his Eagle Scout and recieved his award at the Court of Honor. The cake is a replication of the Eagle Scout seal!

Congratulations Jacob! More cakes will be coming soon, thanks for your support(:

The Big 1-8: Happy Birthday Allie!

This Thursday the 28th was the lovely soccer star Allie Budge's 18th birthday, and her mom decided to have us surprise her with this awesome soccer ball cake! She loves chocolate so we made it all chocolate cake with layers of chocolate frosting and chocolate ganache (:

A Girly Weekend!

This weeks first cake was for 12 year old Shannon Bell's birthday, who loves acting, singing, and dancing!

There were 4 layers of chocolate cake with chocolate frosting in between, and the letters were made of rice crispy treats and covered in fondant.

For one of Hailey's school teacher's 3 year old daughters, she asked us to make a cake with an "under the sea" theme (:

The inside of the cake was yellow cake dyed pink (the adorable little 3 year old birthday girl has an obsession with all things pink), and the "sand" is made of a brown and white sugar mix.

Hailey's Birthday

On September 30th, Hailey turned 17! One thing I have learned about Hailey is that she hates the fact that she is getting "old", and she doesn't like celebrating her birthday because of this. But ignoring her wish not to get her anything, my mom and I decided to be funny and make her a gravestone birthday cake. Though I  stayed up until 2 on a school night to make it, it turned out great,
and Hailey loved it! (:

Our Cakes :D

After many hours of watching cake shows this summer such as Cake Boss, Ace of Cakes, and Food Network Challenge, we were inspired to try to make one ourselves! The first cake we made was for my (Tess') Aunt Jami who was visiting with her family and is adopted from Korea.

After the success of our first cake, we created a birthday cake for my dad who likes guns!

Our next cake was a replica of a Nikon camera for our good friend Mckaylee's birthday who likes photography (:

Then Hailey's little sister Lexi and her best friend asked us to make a cake for Amanda's little brother's 8th birthday who loves all things Spongebob!

One of our most challenging cakes was a topsy-turvy 16th birthday cake for our talented singer/actress friend Maddy.

The first cakes that we made a profit for were for a pre-med student's birthday,
and a baby boy's 1st birthday!
